Privacy Policy
2. Overview
VectorHit is a free online PNG/JPG/WebP to SVG converter. We do not run ad profiles, marketing tracking, or automated scoring. Personal data may arise from: (a) images you upload — which may contain logos, brands, or third-party content; (b) server logs; (c) cookie consent in localStorage; (d) feedback including optionally corrected SVG files.
3. Converter / image upload
Your browser sends the file via HTTPS to our vectorization API (Fly.io (Region Frankfurt, fra)). Processing happens in RAM to produce SVG output. We then store the input raster and output SVG in Supabase Inc. (Region EU — Frankfurt, eu-central-1) for model improvement if you have consented (see section 4). Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (service you request) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (security, abuse prevention). Do not upload content you lack rights to or special-category data under Art. 9 GDPR.
4. AI model training
With your explicit consent (checkbox in the converter before upload) we may use stored uploads and SVG outputs to improve our vectorization model. Purpose: service quality and AI model development. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Consent is voluntary; the converter requires it. Retention: bis zu Ihrer Löschanfrage oder Widerruf der Einwilligung (Art. 17 DSGVO). Withdrawal: email hello@vectorhit.com. Data is deleted after withdrawal or erasure request where legally possible.
5. Feedback
You may rate results and optionally submit corrected SVGs, stored in Supabase Inc. (Region EU — Frankfurt, eu-central-1) and linked to the original upload for training pairs. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (where consent given) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (service feedback).
6. Server logs
Technical data is processed on Vercel Inc. and Fly.io (Region Frankfurt, fra). Retention: up to 30 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
7. Processors (Art. 28 GDPR)
We use the following processors: • Vercel Inc. — website hosting/CDN (https://vercel.com/legal/dpa). Data may be processed in the USA under SCCs. • Fly.io (Region Frankfurt, fra) — vectorization API in the EU (https://fly.io/legal/data-processing-agreement). Fly.io Inc. (USA) is the processor; processing runs in region Frankfurt (fra). • Supabase Inc. (Region EU — Frankfurt, eu-central-1) — database and object storage for uploads, SVG outputs, and feedback (https://supabase.com/legal/dpa). Application data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt), not in the USA. • All-Inkl.Com (Nutzungsdienstleister für Domain/DNS) — domain/DNS only.
8. Fonts
We use Google Fonts via `next/font/google`. Font files are self-hosted from our deployment.
9. Cookies & local storage
See section 13. Upload/training consent is collected separately via a converter checkbox, not via cookies.
10. Social links
External link to our official X profile (https://x.com/VectorHit) only — no embedded social plugins. X’s privacy policy applies once you leave our site.
11. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent (Art. 15–21, Art. 7(3) GDPR). Contact: hello@vectorhit.com. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
12. No profiling / no ads
We do not run ad tracking or profiling.
13. Cookies
Essential: consent storage in localStorage. Optional analytics: disabled until you opt in via the cookie banner.
